Products are ok. I already purchased several MyQ indoor and outdoor cameras.
No problem.
But Chamberlain is ill-equipped for returns.
My advice : buy from Home Depot or Amazon, youll get an easy return if necessary.
I made the mistake to buy a « my Q Smart garage video keypad » directly from Chamberlain. As I decided to return it
1/ I had to follow their return procedure which is to call their Technical support, and I had to stay for 45 minutes discussing with an agent and waiting that he gives me a Return number.
2/ I had to pay $20 to FedEx ( I would have had a free return if I had purchased it at Home Depot .
3/ Chamberlain misunderstood my return request and sent me a second
«Smart garage and video Keypad » !
4/ I had to call them again, and again spend another 45 minutes on the phone while the agent was doing the necessary to organize the return of the item I had not ordered!!!

Was on the phone with customer service got disconnected called right back. They got me back to the same person fortunately and they resolve my issue. probably on the phone total of a half hour.

The past July 16th, during the moment I was trying to park my car in the garage, I got in the car, and while I was going backward, a malfunction of the MYQ Tesla In-App monthly paid service closed the door while I was about to enter, resulting in into a big damage into my car and garage door, plus affecting me with the inability to work with my car, since I started working as UBER the week before, since I'm without a job, so I immediately call Chamberlain to get support and payment ASAP of this, to avoid financial impact to myself given the limitation that this cause, to be able to work. I filed the claim and I was given Claim # 202407**-**87853 they committed to solving it in 24 hrs, it has been already 72 hrs and counting and they don't even answer the phone or mail. So far to date Im losing the chance to generate at least 240 USD every day while working at UBER but I can't make this anymore with the car in this condition, so need to get paid for the full repair of the car's back glass original in the brand supplier, the door garage repair and alignment and the payment of every day I which cause of this, I can't work with the car damaged which is about 240 USD every day.
I shared with them the full video which can be all seen, I have with me, same I argue my claim that is a service that should be 100% reliable since the setup alternatives are: Autoclose once the car is more than 60ft away, and auto open when the car is 60ft radius of the geolocation of the house, which I set at the beginning of the subscription payment sign up.
I need an immediate response, this is deeply affecting my financial situation causing a 100% for a Malfunction of this device.

Lift master Logic Board
Short story: Logic Boards have a recall, get a new board, new board is bad as well. Call customer service (Foreigner) and all I get is we are sending you another board.
Im disabled, and climbing up and down is not necessarily my strength. Chamberlain does not have techs or does not pay for techs.
Asked for a new opener, nope! Asked for a manager, nope, you will get a call back sometime.

Need advice on how to program keypad without an enter button
I called the 800-528-**** number talked with Sarah. She walked me through the reprogramming process several times we even changed the battery but in the end, we were unable to make it work so she is shipping me a brand new keypad so Im very happy with the results of Chamberlin support.
They don’t support older models
I need another remote for my opener. It only came with one even though its a two car garage.
They tell me they dont support these older models. It wasnt installed that long ago.

It turns out after multiple phone calls and chats plus Tech support assistance including "walking thru" reprogramming my new opener it was supplied with bad safety sensors. I ended up getting a Chamberlain distributor and service company to fix the door.
This required the purchase of new safety sensor at a cost of $48 + the service call so I'm out $136.22.
What it really highlights is Chamberlain does not have a functional warranty period! Very disappointed!

I needed to speak with someone about my garage door opener. As a older person who is not a tech person we should not have to do this on line stuf.
I will never recomend this company nor will I ever get anythong else from them.

No instructions
There was no installation instructions! I found a video that was helpful, BUT!!!
It was too fast. The guy would be showing something else before I could accomplish the task. WHAT IRRITATED ME THE MOST WAS HE SAID REFER TO YOUR INSTRUCTIONS MANUAL! In the video I could see a nice large paper the had instructions for the install.
Please make sure you include an instruction manual. Very aggravating!!

Verified Reviewer |Bought bundle camera & 1 year subscription. When I received camera no 1 year subscription, called and was told I had 30 day trial. After trial will automatically begin. Didn’t happen.
Called again. No one had a clue , what had happened.
Couldnt answer my why subscription wouldnt activate. Purchased this on May 6th. Then the God of retail stepped in. A guy named Steve.
At first he was concerned and agreed that I had been treated wrong. He said in I quote, No worries, Ill refund your sale on the subscription. Ill receive refund in 2-3 weeks. Meanwhile he recended my refund if
Offer.
Without talking to me. And of course this is my fault, he couldnt get up with me. Swore he emailed me a PO code to activate subscription. Ive checked my email.
Never happened. He blames me for spending money with him and never receiving service subscription. I call back ask where my refund is, 2-3 weeks later. He denies he ever said he would refund subscription.
Meanwhile I have nothing for my 100$ purchase. Steve is a complete Axx. Excuse the French. Said I received code , tried to call me and was my fault.
Three months have passed now. Steve the ICE MAN blames this on me and says its my fault , he called me and sent a code to activate subscription Never happened. Steve is a BOLD FACE Liar, says even if he could refunded. His registers wouldnt allow it.
Steve is in charge of ALL customer Service and he answers to no one , he has final say, The guy with a straight face told me it was my problem, he had done his part and I had gotten my 1 year subscription. What an Axxs. I havent and still 3 months later nothing from this man named Steve. Their product is average , which people can deal with, their Customer service is the WORST Ive ever seen.
This guy Steve should be fired and hung out to dry in Customer Service School. Doesnt give a crap about his customer. Im not done, Steve tells me I am forgetful. Ive written all this stuff down too.
He says he has it recorded. I only hope and pray, his CEO listens to our conversations. Thus whole ordeal I spent well over 8 hours in 3 months and not a satisfactory outcome or product I paid for. Buyer Beware of Chamberlain .

Ive been in customer service my whole life, Im 70 now. Definitely the worst interaction with anyone in a business setting.

When I walk into the garage, I see a flashing yellow light before I open the door. The garage door will open with the opener but only closes after the garage door light shuts off.
Chamberlain wireless keypad Very wrong info for, to program the chamberlain keypad that was provided with the unit
your walk through on the keypad is SO WRONG it is NOT even funny, I had to return the first keypad what a waist of time, that your instructions were totally WRONG, can not believe you have them as a walk through to program the keypads!
I googled it, in you tube was so simple that has programmed it for the first time took only 30 seconds.
